 MUSIC VIDEO TASK 

At some point we need to work on reformatting your blog so that it conforms to the conventions of all the school blogs. I will help with this. It is not far off and shouldn’t take long. 

 

The research into the formatting of storyboards and shooting scripts is good and it is clearly well presented. You also clearly put a lot of effort into the storyboard that you produced and the varied formatting of sketches and found images works perfectly well to convey your ideas. If you choose to produce a music video when the briefs are released, I recommend that you give a little more attention to matching generic codes to your finished product and to thinking about the timing of shot. A good attempt.

ADVERTISING TASK

There is a clear sense of the effort you have put into this. The mock ups are sound and show good progression to the main task. The one thing you would need to do if this was your real coursework would be to justify the large change between the main and end product. I suspect it was something to do with the issue of getting people to take part in your photoshoots. For this task it is no problem at all, but if you find that you are having difficulty accessing models, please always let me know and I will try to support you on this.

As for the final productions, I do like the photos. The one of the two dogs in cages is especially emotional. I would personally have tried zooming in closer to their faces, as this would have been even more emotional. 

Good choice of colours and fonts, but remember to proof read carefully and also to think about using something like a stroke or drop shadow in order to bring the text out of the background.
